Why not bike tomorrow in Maine, or Ireland, or Hollywood, or Scotland? Our Virtual Scenery DVDs, filmed all over the world in beautiful locales, can aid in ending exercise boredom. And, no matter which version of an indoor exercise bike you utilize, upright or recumbent, with our Virtual Experience Bike Scenery DVDs, there is no chance of being hit by a car, chased by a dog, or caught in a sudden downpour! On a personal note, we just returned from two weeks filming in Ireland and Scotland. While filming there, we discovered that the narrow twisting roads found in both countries, plus with the high speeds of the passing cars and trucks, can make biking extremely hazardous.

Customers tell us over and over that our DVDs make the time spent exercising pass quickly, enabling them to exercise longer that usual, lose weight, and stay fit! Over 75% of our customers return to purchase more of our Scenery DVDs! In fact, here's a recent email from a customer:

"Dear Sirs: Awesome product! I own a Spin studio and just used the video for my true road cyclists (Orange County Bicycle Club of NY) and we're floored by the wonderful technigues used to record. We have been watching crappy vids in basements for years and this was a delight to watch alone and a great ride when added to our Spin room 50 inch plasma tv and my music. Thanks, I have purchased all 4 bike vids and await new releases. Mike, Cycle Fitness Center"

VITA Digital Productions specializes in traveling the world to film Virtual Scenery DVDs for all types of Exercise Bikes, both upright and recumbent. We've already filmed Bike Scenery DVDs in Maine, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills, and we are currently filming more in small Southern towns. And in Ireland and Scotland, we filmed 6 more Bike Scenery DVDs. Those DVDs should be available soon - check our DVD Catalog periodically.

Currently, we have four Bike Scenery DVDs available; Maine's Mount Desert Island Bike Ride, The Hollywood Hills Bike Ride, The Connemara, Ireland Bike Ride, and our newest DVD, Loch Etive, Scotland Bike Ride.

"Maine's Mt. Desert Island Bike Ride DVD," was filmed in Acadia National Park, one of the most scenic National Parks on the east coast. You'll begin your 1 hour virtual bike ride at the very peak of Cadillac Mountain and wind your way down the twisting and turning road before joining the park's 26 mile Loop Road. The scenic road passes through varied terrain and vegetation, sometimes following Maine's rocky coastline, sometimes through the forest, sometimes beside a crystal clear lake - but always changing scenery.

Filmed at an average speed of 12 miles per hour with professional high definition television cameras, this DVD will take you through all parts of Acadia National Park during your 60 minute virtual bicycle ride. Designed to take the boredom out of exercising on an upright bicycle, recumbent or spinner, this DVD has constantly changing scenery to make the time you spend exercising fly by!

And remember, no matter what the outside weather, you can always exercise in Maine!

The second in our new series of Virtual Bike Ride DVDs has a 60 minute widescreen virtual ride through the Hollywood Hills in California. Filmed at speeds of 10 to 20 mph, it's the perfect accessory for your exercise bike or spinner. Just place it in a DVD player, and mount your exercise bike or recumbent bike, and instantly you will be traveling at 10 to 20 mph through one of the most beautiful areas of Hollywood! You'll twist and turn through the narrow streets past some of the most spectacular real estate in Hollywood. Filmed in Widescreen, this DVD will take you past beautiful scenery, dramatic architecture, and breathtaking views.

The 60 minute virtual bike ride is accompanied by the natural sounds just as they were recorded in Stereo in California.

The third in our series of Virtual Bike Ride DVDs has a 62 minute widescreen virtual tour along the Sky Road on the scenic Connemara coastline in the western part of County Galway in Ireland. Filmed at speeds of 12 to 15 mph, it's the perfect accessory for your exercise bike or spinner. A large part of your ride is beside the Lough Corrib, in the heart of the Gaeltacht region of Ireland, where the indigenous Gaelic language is still spoken. Filmed in Widescreen with a High Definition* television camera, you'll speed through (at 12 to 15 mph) beautiful scenery featuring ancient rock walls, varied topography and vegetation, and breathtaking views as you climb ever higher. You are "experiencing" the natural, rugged coast of Ireland from an eye-popping vantage point on a beautiful spring day in May! This is a view which few cyclists ever get to enjoy.

The 62 minute virtual bike ride is accompanied by the natural sounds just as they were recorded in Dolby Stereo in Ireland.

The fourth and newest in our series of Virtual Bike Ride DVDs has a 59 minute Virtual Bike Ride along the shore of Loch Etive, Scotland! This Virtual Bike Ride begins by Loch Etive, in the Highlands, one of the most beautiful areas of Scotland. You'll bike through (at 10 to 15 mph) beautiful scenery featuring ancient rock walls, varied topography and vegetation, and breathtaking views as you circle the loch. This DVD lets you experience the natural, scenic wonder of the Scotish Highlands on a spring day! Filmed in Widescreen.

The 59 minute virtual bike ride is accompanied by the natural sounds just as they were recorded in Dolby Stereo in Scotland.

Exercise bikes including stationary bicycles, indoor bikes or recumbent bikes are among the most popular home fitness equipment. They are easy to use and offer an effective workout. Exercise bikes are proven to be useful not only at burning calories, but also raising the heart rate, developing aerobic capacity, and toning/building your thighs. And unlike treadmills, exercise bicycles do this while limiting the impact on knees and leg joints.

The upright exercise bike more closely simulates the advantages of an actual bike ride. Recumbent exercise bikes work the gluteal muscles more so than with traditional upright bikes. Those who want to develop that specific body area should focus their attention on recumbent bicycles.

Having less and less time to go to a gym has left many people wondering how they can work on their fitness at home. Home fitness equipment is certainly more convenient than driving to a gym on a daily basis, not to mention the time spent waiting for specific equipment to become free. But defeating boredom is the biggest obstacle to a successful home exercise routine - and that's where we can help.
